Dyslexia Hub Structured Literacy

A free 32-level structured literacy video course from Ireland's national dyslexia charity.

AppPrimary school

Our take

Free video lessons in 32 levels, from short vowels and first consonants through digraphs, magic e, vowel teams, syllables, -tion, plurals and y rules. Each level has a "How To" video that teaches the pattern and "Now Do" videos for practising reading and spelling the words. There is no tracking or adaptivity, so you choose the level and watch with your child.

A good fit for

  • Families on no budget
  • Extra practice alongside school or a tutor

Look elsewhere if

  • Children who need adaptive practice or progress tracking
