Our take
A weekly live video session with a Lexercise-trained therapist, using Lexercise's own structured literacy curriculum, plus about 15 minutes a day of practice games at home. Each lesson covers sounds and letters, decoding and spelling, word parts, sentence reading and sentence writing, and the sequence runs through spelling patterns and syllable types to Latin and Greek roots. It is one session a week, which is lighter than most dyslexia tutoring.
A good fit for
- Families who want a professional weekly session without travelling
- Children who need structured literacy through to word roots
Look elsewhere if
- Children who need several live sessions a week
- Families who want an independent outcome study
